recently, the office of the central leading group for rural work, the expert advisory committee on rural revitalization, and the ministry of agriculture and rural development (mard) released the results of the 2020 and 2021 outstanding achievements in soft science research on rural revitalization of the central agricultural office (cao) and mard. the topic of "research on digital rural construction" of institute of new rural development of peking university won the outstanding achievement award in the selection.

it is reported that the selection aims to further mobilize all social forces to participate in the soft science research on rural revitalization of the central agricultural office and the ministry of agriculture and rural development, and to encourage the main completers of the excellent research results in 2020 and 2021. after careful review, voting and deliberation by the expert review committee, 24 outstanding achievement awards were selected.

new rural development institute, peking university won the award for "research on the construction of digital countryside", with prof. huang ji-kun as the main author, and associate prof. yi hongmei, postdoctoral fellow su lanlan, dr. zhang hangyu, as well as zuo chenming, wen wen, zhou jinxiu, and lv zhibin from ali research institute as the main authors. the project thoroughly researched the current situation, problems and countermeasures of digital village construction, providing useful theoretical support and practical guidance for china's rural revitalization strategy.
